From the mysterious tension of the opening movement to the explosive joy of the famous \u201cOde to Joy<\/em>\u201d in the choral finale, the Ninth unfolds a musical journey of extraordinary intensity. Here Beethoven breaks the limits of the classical symphony by incorporating, for the first time in the history of the genre, solo voices and choir into the final movement, based on Friedrich Schiller\u2019s poem Ode to Joy<\/em>. The result is a universal proclamation of unity among peoples and faith in humanity.<\/p>\n\n The Ninth Symphony is not merely a work to be heard: it is a collective celebration, a hymn to freedom and human dignity that continues to resonate powerfully in our own time.<\/p>\n\n In addition, this will be a very special concert in which we will also pay tribute to the Catalan soprano Conxita Badia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n The first part of the concert will include a selection of songs composed by Conxita Badia, with arrangements for soprano and orchestra by conductor Salvador Brotons, as well as two emblematic works by Eduard Toldr\u00e0.<\/p>\n\n A unique event that combines emotion, excellence and mastery.
