A pop artist with rock roots, he led the rock band Z 66. From 1970 onwards, he launched a meteoric solo career under the stage name Lorenzo Santamaría.
He is a reference in Spanish melodic and romantic pop, achieving overwhelming No. 1 hits and great success in various countries, with major tours throughout Latin America.
