El Consorcio‘s new tour is a heartfelt tribute to our beloved Amaya Uranga, founder and soul of both Mocedades and El Consorcio, who has now retired from the stage.
The image and memory of Amaya Uranga, one of the most iconic artists and voices in the history of Spanish music, will be present at every concert of this new tour, offering a unique opportunity to feel her spirit and charisma once again.
Former Mocedades members Estíbaliz Uranga, Iñaki Uranga and Carlos Zubiaga, together with Allende Blanco Uranga, daughter of Sergio and Estíbaliz, now make up El Consorcio, Spain’s quintessential vocal group and the only Spanish-language ensemble to have sold more than one million copies of a single performed entirely in Spanish.
Their magnificent voices, renowned for their flawless blend and exceptional quality, earned them the Latin Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2016, a distinction that recognises the outstanding career of El Consorcio.
